The Wrigley family has an affinity of maintaining a tight grip on their affairs, ensuring what they consider meticulous control over their operations. Take as an example, Alison Wrigley Rusack, the daughter of Willian “Bill” Wrigley III, is Chair of the Catalina Island Company. Her husband Geoff Rusack is President and CEO, and their son Hunter is Vice President of Operations.

Alison Wrigley Rusack is the permanent Chair of the Catalina Island Conservancy Benefactor Members. Her involvement with the Conservancy is supported by her son Austin and her cousin Blanny, who are both on the Board of Directors, as is her second cousin Calen Offield. Blanny’s brother Will is Chairman of the Conservancy’s Board of Directors.

I invite you to explore more about the Conservancy and their current application to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to eliminate all of Catalina Island deer.
