The Catalina Island community is grateful to L.A. County Supervisor Janice Hahn for taking time out of her busy schedule to attend the Catalina Island Conservancy’s “Community” Forum. She spoke eloquently, and asked the Conservancy to put their plans to kill the deer on hold. Most importantly, she asked for humane alternatives.
Supervisor Hahn spoke with a level of authenticity and truthfulness that we have not yet seen from the Catalina Island Conservancy representatives.
It was not the Catalina Island Conservancy that won the evening, it was Janice Hahn. Thank you Supervisor Janice Hahn for supporting our community.
Our community is deeply thankful for Supervisor Janice Hahn, for all of her help in trying to keep the Catalina Island Conservancy from using sharp shooters to eliminate ALL of the deer here on Catalina Island. She serves all of the people in LA County of which Catalina Island is located within. Our community will be forever grateful for her efforts to help us.
